I’m Christina Wakes, also known as The RE Queen of KC! I’m a Topeka native and Kansas REALTOR® with Propertunity Knocks KC, serving buyers, sellers, and investors throughout the Kansas side of the Kansas City metro, Johnson County, Topeka, and surrounding Kansas communities.
I’ve spent more than 10 years working in real estate, and my experience goes well beyond the closing table. Throughout my career, I’ve leased more than 1,000 rental properties, worked on over 100 renovations and rehabs, and helped clients with everything from purchasing their first home to evaluating investment opportunities.
One thing I’ve learned over the years is that every property and every client is different. What works for one seller might not work for another. The same goes for buyers and investors. I believe it’s important to understand someone’s goals before recommending a strategy.
I’m especially passionate about helping first-time homebuyers understand the process. Through my Hopes to Homes program, I want to help people who may not know where to start realize that homeownership could still be possible.
